Pavlina Sudrich is the Ontario Ski Team Head Coach. Her coaching style is best described as rampantly enthusiastic, peppered with salty language, and full of disgustingly fun workouts.
Sudrich’s responsibilities include leading Ontario at Tier 1 races across Canada, working with coaches and athletes in racing programs across Ontario, and generally hanging around anywhere there is snow and ski racing.
Pavlina has ample coaching and racing experience. A competitive skier from Whitehorse who has raced at countless National Championships. Over the past five years she has been working as a coach of athletes of all ages and abilities. Most recently she led the Nakkertok T2T program.
While Pavlina’s complete resume is far too lengthy to list all of her accomplishments, some of the highlights include being listed as one of Canada’s Top 20 Under 20 youth, being a CBC Radio news host, and reading more youth fiction than has actually been written.
A Whitehorse native with a background in competitive skiing, first hand experience with European coaching styles, and a flair for the dramatic (please see her youtube videos). Pavlina has recently completed a blisteringly-paced six year double major in History and Political Science at Carleton Universit.
Extremely personable, outgoing, and outrageous, Pavlina considers among her many, many pastimes; butchering espressos, lightly abusing her dog Oliver, attending old-lady fitness classes, dressing up in ridiculous costumes, and cooking delicious omelet’s, often all at the same time.
